Great to see the posts from the animal lover!

We currently have 2 dogs, a cat (who lets us live with him), 3 horses and an aquarium. We have lost many over the years and it is so hard.  But rescued some from the local humane society and that feels good.

Bill -  The sad thing is most of what you posted is either ok with the Democratic platform or part of their platform.  Over half the people that voted are saying this is fine let’s keep doing this.  I guess we are living in a new America and have to get used to it.  Hopefully one day people will say we need a change and vote for change.  Sadly, What will be will be.

NOVA, Sadly, what will be will be.  BUT I DON'T THINK WE WILL SEE IT IN OUR LIFETIME. UNLESS WE LIVE TO BE OVER, 100, YEARS OLD.

State Rep Asks State To Verify Military Absentee Ballots After Improper Use Found

(Republicaninformer.com)- An alert about election fraud was broadcast on Monday by Rep. Janel Brandtjen, Chair of the Assembly on Campaigns and Elections.

Three open military ballots addressed to “Holly,” a woman who has never resided there, were delivered to Rep. Brandtjen’s residence.

Brantjen thought this was a part of a Wisconsin vote-stealing plot.

The Gateway Pundit had written extensively about this 2020 voter fraud scheme in several pivotal states when it was discovered that military ballots were cast almost entirely to Joe Biden. We published proof that this happened in Georgia, Arizona, and Michigan.

Kimberly Zapata, the deputy director of the City of Milwaukee Electoral Commission, was fired on Thursday for engaging in election fraud, according to Wisconsin radio presenter Dan O’Donnell.

Director of the Milwaukee Elections Commission Claire Woodall-Vogg, whose questionable behavior has been previously highlighted by The Gateway Pundit, asserts that she thinks Zapata was trying to draw attention to the fact that military ballots can be requested and sent out without a photo ID or even voter registration.

Democrats assert that Zapata sought to demonstrate how simple it was to solicit bogus ballots. And the whole thing was a hoax even though it performed as Zapata had predicted.

Since then, Kimberly Zapata has retained counsel and now faces serious allegations.

Rep. Brandtjen emailed out this update on Sunday night. Brandtjen and several military veterans are asking courts to confirm the status of our courageous service members.

Several veterans and state representative Janel Brandtjen, the chair of the assembly committee on campaigns and elections, have asked the courts to confirm the status of our heroic service members as active military personnel. After receiving three absentee military ballots with fictitious identities at her residence last week, Brandtjen made the decision.

“All of us want to shield the bravery of our military personnel from being dishonorably taken away,” Brandtjen stated. “Naturally, we will ensure that every valid military vote is counted, and we won’t allow criminals to steal their votes,” Brandtjen continued.

Rep. Brandtjen is still confident that the courts will move quickly to confirm a person’s active military status.

On Friday, November 4, 2022, the Thomas More Society, attorneys Erick Kaardal, Michael Gableman, and Rep. Brandtjen filed the complaint.

I "googled" a couple of the sources cited about the claimes of election fraud. One urges violence. What do  you think?

Wisconsin Assembly Republicans bar Rep. Janel Brandtjen from caucus meetings

Lawmaker supported primary challenge to Assembly Speaker Robin Vos

One of Wisconsin's highest-profile deniers of the 2020 election outcome has been barred from attending private meetings of Republican Assembly members.

State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, R-Menominee Falls, is the chair of the Assembly's elections committee. She has repeatedly attacked Assembly Speaker Robin Vos on election issues and supported a primary challenge to the Republican leader. Those efforts gained the support of former President Donald Trump, who has said Vos should have supported the legally impossible step of decertifying Wisconsin's 2020 presidential election results.

The website WisPolitics first reported that Assembly Republicans had voted to bar Brandtjen from their closed caucus meetings. In a terse letter, Rep. Rob Summerfield, who is the majority caucus chair, wrote that its members had lost trust in her due to "continual issues from the past."

Parties use closed caucus meetings to set political strategy. Vos has not said whether he plans to reappoint Brandtjen to lead the elections committee.

Brandtjen was one of the speakers at Trump's Wisconsin rally ahead of the GOP gubernatorial primary, which doubled as a rally for Vos's right-wing primary challenger, Adam Steen. Steen came within 300 votes of defeating Vos.

In a statement on Tuesday, Brandtjen denied what she called "rumors" that she had been kicked out of the Republican meeting, saying she had left voluntarily due to a family commitment. In a new statement Wednesday after the disclosure of the letter, Brandtjen called the move by her fellow Republicans "petty."

"I will continue to ... address the issues my constituents have told me are important to them, including voting integrity, with the same determination I have in the past," she wrote.

Facebook’s struggle with Gateway Pundit highlights challenge of containing disinformation

Dec 3 (Reuters) - The Gateway Pundit, a far-right news site, has used its Facebook page - with more than 630,000 followers - to post bogus stories alleging the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. Some commenters responded with threats of violence.

After Gateway Pundit posted a June story on Facebook that included debunked claims of voter fraud in Arizona, a commenter said the governor and secretary of state should be “fed feet first through a woodchipper.” A story featuring false claims of vote-rigging in Fulton County, Georgia, drew comments on Facebook calling for an election worker to be hanged or “shot for treason.”

Fox News website (Nov. 15, 2022):

The Fox News Decision Desk can project that Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs will be the next governor of Arizona. She defeats GOP candidate and former local news host Kari Lake.

Per Arizona law, the race may go to a recount.

Lake is a former TV news anchor who stepped down last year after 22 years with the Fox affiliate in Phoenix to run for governor. Thanks in part to her strong support for former President Trump and his unproven claims that the 2020 election was "stolen" and rigged," Trump endorsed and heavily backed Lake as she narrowly won the GOP nomination over a candidate backed by term-limited GOP Gov. Doug Ducey.

Lake highlighted her "common sense conservatism" as she centered her campaign on the issues of border security, homelessness, banning critical race theory in Arizona classrooms, support for school choice, and opposition to abortion.

Hobbs, a former social worker who later served in the Arizona state House and state Senate, was elected secretary of state in 2018. Hobbs gained national attention for defending Arizona’s election results — it was one of a handful of states where now-President Biden narrowly edged Trump — as the then-president unsuccessfully tried to overturn the results.

She stressed her support for protecting abortion rights during her campaign, and also emphasized her plan to work with law enforcement and border communities to beef up Arizona’s border security with Mexico.

Lake heavily criticized Hobbs for refusing to take part in gubernatorial debates. Hobbs said debating Lake would result in giving a platform to conspiracy theories.

A LITTLE HUMOR TO START THE DAY OFF.

I got a lift to the eleventh floor, and as I got out, the operator said, "Have a good day, son."

"Don't call me son," I said. "You're not my dad."

He scratched his head, "No, but I brought you up, didn't I?"

Dick, I do accept the election results but believe until we know who is voting, there is no way to know who is voting and if it was a fair election.  When identification is required for everyone voting, I will think it is a fair election.   I think drop boxes are a joke and mail in ballots should only be for military, out of country and people who are sick and can prove who they are before they receive a mail in ballot.  I think one day is not enough time to vote so instead of election day it should be election week.  I believe that national elections rules should be set by the government and every state must follow the national rules.  When the rules are compiled, all states should vote for approval.

Just my thoughts.

Peaches, I agree with you and Nova.  It always amazes me that Arizona has serious problems with their machines and take weeks to count their ballots.  It just smells fishy.
