Polio Could Have Another Outbreak After It Was Spotted In Sewage System
Health experts reported on Friday that the polio virus was discovered in the wastewater of New York City. This indicates that the disease is spreading throughout the population of people who have not been vaccinated.

According to the Associated Press (AP), New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Ashwin Vasan stated that “the risk to New Yorkers is significant,” but that “the protection is so easy – get vaccinated against polio.”
Vasan said that with polio circulating in our communities, there is simply nothing more essential than vaccinating our children to protect them from this virus.
