The following article BY & At the time he was Governor of California, Any an all reply are welcome here on the site or send them to me as a private message  Some individuals will disagree what I have posted But look at what is going on in America Today, Just remember to when we were in school, what subjects we had to take. Reagan Tried to Warn Us About the Direction the  ??? Party is Heading In

Ronald Reagan is remembered for many things, and one of them is what has simply been called, “The Speech.”

Though Barry Goldwater was to lose the election later that year to Lyndon Johnson, few in or out of the Republican party could forget Reagan warning us about the direction of the Democratic party. And perhaps American politics in general.

Reagan urged Americans to remember the words of one of our Founding Father, James Madison, who said, “We base all our experiments on the capacity of mankind for self-government.”

Then California governor Reagan pointed out that his former party was headed down the road of Democratic Socialism, and voters needed to recognize that. His chief concern was that voters would focus on Johnson and Goldwater rather than the true enemy. “[Democrats he said] want to make you and I believe that this is a contest between two men — that we’re to choose just between two personalities …”

He saw the real choice was between competing ideals. He believed that “the very thing the Founding Fathers sought to minimize,” Lyndon Johnson’s party despised. He warned, “A government can’t control the economy without controlling people, and when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose.”

Watch the video and hear the speech that steadied the course of a generatio

Bill

You have done a great job on The Class of 63 site.  I appreciated all the work and time you have put into the site, which made it a great place to visit.  It takes a special talent to do what you have done.  I hope whoever carries on will be able to continue with the same energy you have put into it.

There is a lot more going on, that I have not talked about. The Company that OWNS CC. is moving there operations to the cloud system. That is one reason the our system was off line awhile back. I have updated my computer to keep up with there new system that is not working. There are a lot of Admin all over the world that are up set with what is going on.  I am not going to spend any more Money to try to keep my computer up dated to there programs.  To be honest even after an when they get the new system updated there will still problems.

I don't think that a lot of classmates computers that will be able to keep up with the new system if it is every finished . when I got my new computer 5 years ago I looked ahead as to what is being looked at an the changes that were being made at the time. So I have  been or was five steps ahead of everything . I am tried of talking to some Computer TEC. is some distance land.

With the help of a computer tech I know an we were on the phone to day for about two hours  witch be about $150.00 I will pay him.out of my pocket working on a way to make it easy for classmates to be able to down load photo files just by clicking on aweb ling an down load them. It can be done a couple of ways which will take time. One way is a CD can be made od all the reunions an other photes an loaded on a computer. Right now it will  be about  $15.00 a CD Disk  that includes the disk an mailing price.

There are a couple of Roswell site going away after the first of the year, that I have heard of but not sure if it is true.

Bill,  I'm so sorry you are going to give up the excellant work you have done on this webpage.  I wish I was technologically qualified to take it over.  I have absolutely no expertise in anything computerized.  My sons and grandsons help me out all the time.  It is embarrassing.  Just know that whatever the future holds for this website, YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB AND WE ALL APPRECIATE YOUR WORK.

Bill, you are right. I do not think any of us realized the technical problems involved with this site.  I am not a qualified person on the computer, that's for sure.  Thank you for work. It has been and will always be appreciated.

Again Bill, I want to thank you for all your work on our website as it has been a wonderful connection for me to reconnect with all my classmates !

Bill, I am so sorry this has become a burden. It was so enjoyable hearing from and about classmates. I would definitely be interested the DVD of photos. My physical address is 2049 Southern Star Loop, Las Cruces, NM 88011. Where do I send payment for the DVD?  You will be missed.

Cheryl

(Bill, I am so sorry this has become a burden.)   IT's NOT A BURDEN , The number  of classmates that log on the site but  never post except once in awhile  SO Why should I worry about the site.!

The site will stay up an running by it self all the photo's will be left on the site I did NOT DELETE ANY OF THEM.

It is something I took care of, to make sure that they did.

You do not need to down load any of them unless you won't to.

Bill

Good morning, Bill and Classmates.

I finally have the appointment to have both hips replaced this Saturday. This has been going on for close to a year.  Wish me luck for the surgery and the healing.

Let us pray for the healing of our country and the men and women to guide us through these difficult times.
