Went to the Military Commissary. got 99% of what I needed. Road around in one of those go carts. Anyone got in my way or were blocking the alleys. I just stated in a loud voice BEEP BEEP ROAD RUNNER coming THROUGH.

For some reason they moved out of my way.

Bill, 99% shopping is outstanding today.  Those carts sure are handy. Keep us posted!  I need to do the same tomorrow in between all these thunderstorms we're having if it doesn't get too deep!

I'll never understand why toilet paper hoarding is a top priority in every perceived disaster, but in the case of Covid-19, it is totally understandable...

When one person coughs, ten other people crap their pants.

Mystery solved!!

I had a visit with my doctor, Dr. Glen Livit, who referred me to his personal friend and pharmacologist, Dr. Glen Fiddich. He shared his new discovery for the virus, a dram of the secret, not yet approved, Glenmorangie.

Not sure if it works yet, but I sure am happy.

I love it, Bob. Although, not being a scotch appreciator, I got a referral to Don Julio in Margaritaville.

Yes, Nelson, Mr. Julio has quite an operation there. Visited his product many times to ah, refresh my immune system.

Hope everyone is safe.  And while Karen and I are holed up and definitely using several of the "remedies" recommended above to get through the days, I would make an observation that might be helpful while we are confined.  A couple of months ago, my "sacred" watch that I have worn almost everyday since I bought it in the Nuremberg PX in 1971, "told" me it needed to go back to the shop for a cleaning.  The turnover time is 8-10 weeks.  So, I thought I would "join" the 21th Century and get a Fitbit for the interim.  Maybe you guys (or gals) are light years ahead of me, but I have this "thing" on my wrist that informs me 10 minutes before the hour to get my lazy self up and move for 250 steps!  Gives other rewards I call "AttaBoys!".  We may be confined, but it is not excuse not to just move around.  We exercise as we can...but, please don't use this an excuse for being sedentary.  This to shall pass!

Things we are doing while waiting out the Coronavirus

Learning how to try and give each other space.

Getting caught up on work

Cooking a turkey and having a great meal, having great turkey sandwiches and turkey soup.

Making a killer pot of chili and enjoying it for many days

Finding out all the meals you can create with the things that you have in your pantry

Cleaning the garage many times

Walking three times a day to keep active and work off the chili and turkey

Watching Netflix and enjoying time together

Carole’s house is always clean now it shines.

Getting the yard ready for summer

Keeping in contact with family by text and phone calls

Actually, I could get use to this but of course I hope it ends soon and everything goes back to normal.

I hope everyone is healthy and doing well.

Keeping smiles coming from Texas.  You all have shared so many great posts.  Don't know what to add, I just enjoy that you're staying in touch.  For some reason I was thinking of the production the choir put together way back in 62 I think,  Clark Walter and all the other great singers who put it on.  I think I pretty much memorized all the songs, even though behind the scenes. Wherever you all are today, remember you're important.  I'm loving all the thoughts you're sending.
