Bill,  What if we both went to church together?  Not only might the roof fall in, but the Earth would probably quake and that  MIGHT be the end of days.  Have faith, my Friend.  God, the Father, gave us free will as humans to have minds of our own.  If you read Scripture, prophets have foretold the end of the world from the beginning.  In modern times, we begin with Malthus right down to the "Environmental Wackos" of today.  Make no mistake, Nature has more power that any individual, but God gave us the power of understanding to cope with our enviroment.  Possibly, the "virus" may take me, but it will not take the world.  Let's debate this 10 years from now.  Best as always...Glad you are on the mend.  Rowland

ROLAND, the Earth would probably quake. You don't know how true you are. many years ago in Los Angeles CA I was in charge of a Military Honor Guard for an individual who had been killed.

IT was a hot day, About the time the service started Being California we had a Earth Quake. The casket had been closed etc. for reason's The Casket popped opened. The church was filled an people standing out side. As I was sitting in the front row with the rest of the Honnor Guard. I just sat there for a few sec. until the quake stoped. It took me a little time to get up walk over an close the casket lid again.

As I had been an Honor Guard for a few Military services. this one has always stayed with me.

Apologizing for so many posts from me today, but please keep in your prayers my sister Beverly's husband, Brian.  He's got stage 4 liver cancer. Has been battling it with chemo the past few months, but surgery is scheduled for April 9, there in Albuquerque, to remove 60% of his liver. Prayers for him are truly appreciated.  Also, my cousin Kay Fondy Haggar.....she lost her daughter last year.  Kay is now living at Balfour Assisted Living, 1331 Hecla Drive, #325, Louisville, Colorado. 80027.  Her daughter-in-law said Kay is in real early stages of Alzheimer's.  Joann Jackson talked to her recently and said she sounded real good.  I know you'll pray for Kay and her family.  She sure loved all of us in the class of 63.  I went ahead and gave you her address for cards and all. I know time is precious at this point. Wish I lived closer to her.  Thanks to Bill getting me squared away with my password and all I am glad to be connected to you all once again. Must be a reason for the closeness I feel with all of you. Whatever the reason, I'll take it.  Love each of you.

Carolyn, no need to apologize at all for your posts.  I had NO idea you and family were/are going through so many issues.

YES, will be PRAYING, PRAYING, PRAYING for all.  It really makes me think about my 'mini' issues and pains, when I read about the reality of stuff, like Brian's liver cancer and upcoming surgery...and about Kay's early Alzheimer's....

Again, PRAYING for you all.  Please keep us posted and updated.

And, yes, BILL, you do such a great job....

Hope the weekend is looking good for everyone.  Just now caught up reading all the posts I was behind on.   Bill,  you came through so much, really glad you've mended in so many ways. It sounds like when you finally turn a corner something else needs worked on.  But what a testimony your life is to us. We have rain headed our way from Roswell,  I sleep better during the storms so I hope it gets here soon.  Just an hour away is Sweetwater, we lived there for ten years.  The world's largest rattlesnake roundup is going on there this weekend. It always brought the economy of the town to a high level.  I just couldn't bring myself to eat a plate of rattlesnake, but imagine the weekend will be wild and busy there.  Everyone keep your news coming.

Carolyn and Leon, thank you so much for your card remembering my dad. We had a beautiful military send off for him. He served 31 years and had a great retirement. You are so sweet to remember me on this occasion. I also think about you and Leon battling your own health problems , but still finding the time to remember classmates during our time of grief. I hope this note finds both of you happy and heathy. God bless you two. JOHN

Ok, so let's try to make this a St Patricks 🍀 Day to remember, whiskey or whatever else goes with it, and by the way, I already weakened and bought enough Snickers to be of help.  Last week after getting out of the hospital I googled energy and power bars on the internet. My body sure needed a boost. Along with a variety of brands of energy bars, one company posted the Snickers Bar as having just as much protein or more.  Hence, I picked a few up. Shower after shower of rainfall here this week.  Lubbock just got hail a few hours ago so we will see if it heads our way.  With all that's going on, keep your thoughts headed our way.  Leon is in his wood shop cutting something out. Thinking of each you here in the Lonestar State.... reaching for a Snickers and will check back later. Love each of you.

Marie , hope your shopping excursion was ok.  I've made a few post office runs to the outside drive through mail box and got a few more errands done. I'll probably need to go to the store pretty quick.  One of the coaches wives is running errands to the store for those who would like her to.  Hope they at least had a couple items you could use. Sounds like the basics were missing, especially the Tequilla. Sorry.......Bob thanks for the beautiful St Patrick's picture. Helped brighten the day for us.  Some friends of ours had to cancel their upcoming trip to Ireland.  God bless you all. As best you can, make the moments count. Much love. 🍀🍀
