Sharon Bradley Van Dorn

Moved to Calif., right after graduating in 1964, went to work at Douglas Aircraft and met my husband Darryl, a young, up and coming engineer. We were married in '65 and transferred to Huntsville, Alabama where Darryl worked on Missile Defense programs. Transferred back to Calif. where we lived in Mission Viejo for 35 years. Darryl advanced to Director of Launch programs for Boeing for NASA, Air Force and Commercial satellite launches. I worked for the CUSD school district as an office manager and retired in 1999 so I could accompany Darryl on some of his many launch's out of Cape Canaveral and Vandenburg AFB. We have two wonderful sons who have blessed us with four Grand Children (two each).

We are now enjoying retirement, travel, time with the "Grands" and car club activities.

Memories of hanging out with friends, dates, dances and various fun antics. Doing "research at the library" for a chance to drag Main, Greer's, Carmello's Pizza, stuffing as many girls as we could get in a car (including the trunk) and going to the drive in, etc.
