Bobby Lynn Monk VIEW PROFILE

Bobby Lynn Monk, 76, was born in Roswell to Manley (Lee) Monk and Louella (Clem) Monk on December 31, 1945. He passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on March 9, 2022. Bobby attended New Mexico State University for three years and earned an associate degree as an Airplane and Powerplant Technician. He worked as a licensed journeyman plumber for 25 years and retired from the Roswell Fire Department after 20 years of service as a firefighter/EMT. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge 969, and former New Mexico Mounted Patrolman. He attended the First Assembly of God for over 50 years and served there as a board member. For the past 18 years, he was a member of Grace Community Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Louella and Lee Monk, grandparents, George and Jenny Clem, and brother, Gerald Monk. He is survived by his wife of 52 years (June 5, 1970) Linda (Archey) Monk, and three daughters, Stacie Brooks, Robin Harris (Ty), and Kelsey Graham (Luke). He is also survived by one sister, Cheryl Hudson (Edra) of Dallas, TX. There are seven grandchildren: Bryson, Zoe, Cannon, Ashley, Hayden, Hope, and Katie. Other loved ones include many cousins, nieces, nephews, and life-long friends. He was an extremely generous and kind Christian man. He never hesitated to give to those in need, worked multiple jobs to provide well for his family, and fixed anything that was broken. He will be missed on this earth, but his family knows he is with the Lord, whom he loved and served all the days of his life. A celebration of life service will be planned for family and friends at a late

Sorry to hear of Bobby's passing,  Condolences to his family and  friends.
I enjoyed riding with him in his corvair when we hung out together at NMSU.
