Howard was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed supporting local teams and watching his sons play sports. Howard coached his son’s little league baseball team and would enjoy shooting baskets with them when they got the chance.  He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and was able to see them play a game in the Cotton Bowl, Texas Stadium and Cowboys Stadium.  He loved watching baseball and enjoyed following several major league teams upon his retirement.

Howard loved to play golf and he enjoyed going golfing with his entire family.  He also enjoyed working outdoors and he was always working on a project in his yard and landscaping around his house.
