Nova,

Thanks for your input...There is no such thing as "too much information."

Fred,

By George, I think you got it!  As I said, the person who originally made the comment is no longer with us to ask.  However, he was talking about simple things that are always true.  So, "glass will break" perfectly fits the bill.  As far as I am concerned, my question has been answered.  Thank you so much for your help!

Rowland

The following is a few projects we have done.

I have turned over the company to my controller and grandson, but I still work doing bids and working as a consultant.  I do take enough time off for an afternoon golf game and golf most weekends.  I enjoy working because it keeps me busy and keeps my mind active.  My controller has been with me for over 26 years and my grandson, Tyler, who is doing what I use to do better than I did.  Really proud of how both are handling the company.

You can probably tell that I am really proud of the projects we do.  Most of my foremen have been with me between 15 to 26 years, we try not to change key personnel.  We keep them by paying them well and giving them great benefits.  They pay us back by doing great work.  They are Hispanic and, over the years, all went from work permits to citizens.

Connie, no problem.

We celebrated my birthday by taking a Viking Riverboat Cruise, Paris to Normandy, and it was wonderful.

We are having a celebration in Denver, in July, for family and local friends, so I get peanut butter cake again!

Karoline Leavitt 'rushes to soothe' Trump as he rages over new polling

Story by Adam Lynch

Karoline Leavitt 'rushes to soothe' Trump as he rages over new polling  (source)

President Donald Trump exploded over a new Fox News poll showing him upside down on approval. The poll — likely to connect with Fox-viewing Trump — reported 46 percent overall approval for his job performance as president and 54 percent disapproving.

Trump blasted the survey on Truth Social: “They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews … . This has gone on for years, but they never change the incompetent polling company that does their work.”

He was particularly angry at the polling of Trump’s effort to crack down on “immigration,” where Trump traditionally polled high among his supporters.

“Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH,” Trump raged. “… I hate FAKE pollsters, one of the Worst, but Fox will never change their discredited pollster!

Podcaster Greg Sargent pointed out White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt “rushed to soothe” the president at a press conference with “a ridiculous, gushing tirade designed to create the grotesquely false impression that he has the support of a very large majority of Americans.”------>

Note--Trump just sent Vance out here to meet with Rupert. Who owns Fox???

Hi all! I have a request that is a long shot but thought I would try and see if any of our classmates live in or near Loveland, Colorado. There is a jet ski for sale there that I am interested in, but living 320miles away in Utah I am unable to check it out. Wondering if there is someone that would be willing to take a look at it for me to see if it is as described? Or if they know of someone living there. I know this if a lot to ask of someone but thought I would give it a shot. Thank you for reading. JOHN

Dick - It is amazing you were not concerned about Biden adding 6.7 trillion to the national dept in just 4 years. I don't remember you commenting on it at the time.  Depending on what headlines you read the bill will add 2.5 trillion to 3.3 trillion over the next 10 years.  I do agree we need to decrease the National Dept.

Both parties need to work on decreasing the debt.  To do this we need to get rid of waste and cut the size of programs, which will cause hardships, The Democrats do seen to fight any programs that involve decreasing spending and waste.   Enought about politics, I hope you are having a great year.
