Connie, it's possible that the disappearence of the RHS notifications from your email has been caused by a shift in the default settings of your email provider. Your email system's algorithms may have flagged those notifications as spam (and its sender as a source of spam).
To fix that kind of problem, most email systems have a "whitelist" of email sources that you affirmatively do want to see. Manually finding that list and adding an email sender to it usually suffices. Alternatively, if you add the email address to your contacts list (even though you don't plan to email it), that will usually signal to the email system that you don't want its emails blocked.
