Covid is spreading through the schools in El Paso. Nothing closing down, thank goodness. But please be aware of possible contamination.

TIME magazine—the Ocean Issue-- August 2023                https://time.com/

By Aryn Baker   8/24/2023

Enric Sala—marine ecologist, conservationist, and ocean advocate—is standing under a life-size replica of a Northern Atlantic Right Whale at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C., and the air outside is smudged with wildfire smoke drifting down from Canada. Their poop, however, is an unexpected twist. According to Sala, whale excrement, or, more precisely, the lack of it, has a role to play in the choking miasma that has forced my interview with one of the world’s foremost ocean explorers indoors instead of out on a boat.

It may seem like a stretch, the kind that relegates environmentalists deep into woo-woo territory, but as our conversation unfolds, it starts making sense. Whale poop fertilizes ocean plankton. The plankton reproduces rapidly, absorbing carbon dioxide as it photosynthesizes sunlight. Eventually, it sinks to the seafloor, trapping the planet-warming gas in layers of sediment. Fewer whales means less plankton sequestering CO2, leaving more in the atmosphere. That means more of the heat driving the wildfires that have smoked out much of North America.

“Suddenly, we’re seeing that the impacts of climate change are not something that is going to be suffered by somebody else,” says Sala. “It’s here.” And so it is, in the wildfires, heat waves, and floods that have made the weather of summer 2023 some of the most extreme on record. Greater biodiversity, whether it is found in the ocean’s whale populations or the old-growth forests that also store carbon, can help mitigate the effect of burning fossil fuels much more cheaply than any new technology, he says. “The more nature we have, the more nature will be able to absorb our impacts.”...................etc.

These policies will reinstate the mask mandate for TSA and airport employees starting in mid-September.

According to the TSA official, further details on how the policy will escalate will be provided next week.

The official added that by mid-October, mask-wearing will be mandated for pilots, flight staff, passengers, and all airport patrons.

Following this disclosure from the TSA official, Infowars reached out to a trusted Border Patrol source, also in a managerial position.

This source corroborated the directives, confirming that similar measures were being planned for Border Patrol personnel.

“They were told it was not a matter of “if” but “when” official Covid numbers will go back up and they expect by mid-October a return to forced-masking policies that the Biden administration previously only reluctantly ended after massive pressure,” Infowars reported.

The news outlet added, “Both whistleblowers were told this rollout will be in tandem with the new Covid “variant” hysteria that the MSM has been reporting on this week.

On Monday, Co-Host & Executive Editor of Steve Bannon’s War Room, Natalie Winters, reported that the “federal government has already begun buying COVID-19 equipment and hiring consultants to enforce pandemic-era “safety protocols.””

The government contracts, including those from significant entities such as the Department of Defense (DOD), show a considerable expenditure of taxpayer funds towards the procurement of COVID-19 related items like test kits.

Some of these contracts are even scheduled to begin next month, including September and October, hinting at a long-term strategy.

For instance, the DOD has awarded Hologic Sales and Service LLC a significant $1.5 million contract scheduled to begin on October 1st and with a potential end date in May 2024.

According to the federal spending database, these funds are explicitly designated for “Hologic COVID testing services in support of the Department of Pathology at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA 98431. (New Delivery Order)

My sense of humor is what keeps me living. I take everything in stride. The Good & the Bad, one day at a time. I get updates from several government websites. The BEST ONE is THE FBI REPORTS.  I can tell you who has been arrested in N.M.  etc. A LOT of them are SCAMMER.

Shameless power grabs

Donald Trump has finally been indicted for his horrific attempt to destabilize our democracy on January 6th. It’s an important step towards accountability and I’m thankful that our legal system is working as intended, but it’s hard to feel any relief when Republicans in Congress are even now actively trying to enshrine Trump’s crimes into law.

The American Confidence in Elections (ACE) Act should be called the Big Lie Act, since it will finish what Trump started: it would make it easier for dishonest politicians to challenge election results, increase the corporate and dark money influence in our elections, disenfranchise millions of voters and block states from running voter registration programs, and empower the spread of disinformation.

It is custom-designed to help Donald Trump regain power, despite his indictment.

The fact that Trump has been charged with a whole list of new, serious crimes, including Conspiracy to Defraud the United States (along with all his “other” indictments and convictions) shows us once again that Trump and his MAGA enablers in the House are a grave threat to our democracy and our country. We deserve and demand fair, free, and open elections, not shameless power grabs and endless corruption.

Dick - I agree with the article that you posted "Shameless power grabs" ....... I want a President who respects and upholds our constitution! - just that simple !    I voted for Trump and feel that he did some very positive things as President - but in my opinion, he is not electable now to serve .... I know he is high in the polls right now as people are frustrated with all of the indictments against him......  just my opinion as a republican - we need a new republican candidate as we don't need Biden again or a third party candidate!

Bill - enjoyed your music videos !

Joe Biden declared the pandemic over in the fall of 2022.

Now Biden has some bad news for the American people.

And Joe Biden is about to sign one terrifying vaccine mandate.

As the 2024 election draws nearer, Democrats are once again sounding the alarm about an uptick in COVID cases due to the XBB variant.

Rutgers University is instituting a mask mandate for students and while keeping its vaccine requirement in place.

Celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis are posting images on social media of themselves wearing a mask.

And now Joe Biden just told reporters he plans to ask Congress for billions of dollars in funding for a new COVID vaccine.

“Yes, I can,” Biden said in response to a reporter’s question about what he planned to do about an uptick in COVID cases. “I signed off this morning on a proposal we have to present to Congress a request for additional funding for a new vaccine that is necessary, that works.”

Biden also plans to force every man, woman, and child in America to take the new Biden vaccine regardless of whether they have natural immunity from previous infection or took older versions of the vaccine.

“Tentatively it is recommended that it will likely be recommended everybody get it no matter whether they’ve gotten it before or not,” Biden concluded.

Biden’s demand that Congress provide him billions in funding for a new mandatory COVID vaccine is likely to set off the biggest spending fight of Biden’s Presidency.

Joe Biden tried to issue an unconstitutional vaccine mandate back in the fall of 2021.

But the Supreme Court smacked down that abuse of power.

Biden is clearly undeterred and plans to distribute a new vaccine and mandate its use among the public.

Many Americans are worried Democrats are hyping up the need for new mask mandates and keeping the threat of lockdowns on the table as a way to pressure everyone to get the jab.

Congressional Republicans will face enormous pressure from their voters to block anyone funding Joe Biden’s new vaccine.

That’s because the threat of a vaccine mandate is not just emanating from Joe Biden.

Woke corporations and blue state Governors could impose vaccine mandates even if Congress bans funding for a new vaccine on the condition that the federal government does not mandate it.

Wow Bill, how do you really feel about this old friend?

Somebody can declare the pandemic is over but that does not make it true. I swear, do any politicians know anything about biology? Maybe the Beltway erases science from their brains when they travel inside the bypass.

You wrote:

“.....terrifying vaccine mandate.” Really? Terrifying seems a bit much.

I seriously doubt a federal government mandate will happen. It won’t work.

There is, of course, a small uptick in cases reported. There is some concern about it, rightly I’d say. And that is reported.

My wife and I had Covid -19 early on in the pandemic when there was no vaccine available to anyone but Trump. Since then, we had the vaccine and all boosters. She had a bad case of Covid (tested positive, twice) about 2 weeks ago. Very sick. She chose not to report it. We’ll get any new boosters/vaccines that come out, ASAP. I know some people can’t get one but I don’t know any other valid reason not to seek some protection. But, if you don’t want one, don’t get it. But remember, refusal may foster the spread of a viral population.

Natural immunity is tricky because of the variants. A person may escape them but for how long? And there will be more mutations until the virus populations decline significantly.  Maybe. Of course, we all know this.

You wrote:Biden also plans to force every man, woman, and child in America to take the new Biden vaccine regardless of whether they have natural immunity from previous infection or took older versions of the vaccine.”

The president said, “Tentatively it is recommended that it will likely be recommended everybody get it no matter whether they’ve gotten it before or not,” Biden concluded.” (from your message)

Recommended, not  “Biden’s demand”...............

I just regret this awful, killer disease has become so political, antagonistic and divisive. I think we can agree this country does not need another issue that divides us further!

Hello Connie,

Of course, I don't respect Donald.

I think Nikki won the debate.

Joe & Mitch--thank you for your years of service. I think retirement would suit you well.

The obvious question is who could run and win from the Democratic party?  And the Republican party?

Connie Schuerman (Von Dielingen)

Hey there Dick !

I totally agree with what you said above about Trump !  And yes, I also agree that Nikki won that debate - I thought she was very impressive - however just not sure she's a strong enough candidate to win the Republican nomination - our world is in such a mess that not sure a women for President would be electable!

Sorry to hear that you and your wife were so ill with Covid......   we have been very fortunate not to have gotten covid - like you we've had all the vaccines & boosters and are looking forward to receiving the latest booster when it becomes available along with flu shots!
