I'm not sure if anyone has heard, we lost a sweet soul this morning. Carolyn Herring went back to be with her heavenly father. I don't know what happened, I am shocked. Maybe someone has more information. May God hold Leon and members of the family close.

Carolyn and I worked together in our early 20s for GECC.  She was an exceptionally talented and precious person.  My sympathies to Leon and their sons.  She will certainly be missed especially on the 1963 website. I considered her a dear friend and will miss seeing her messages. She loved the Lord and will be singing for Him now.

Bill, they have not made any announcement about the Sturgis Rally yet.

South Dakota has not been hit hard, so we will have to see what is decided.

On December 13, 1920, Jack was born to Duck “D.C.” Chew and Sum Shue Tscui in Canton, China. He joined the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, serving from July 2, 1942, and was honorably discharged on September 30, 1945. While in the service, Jack was an Airplane Armorer Tail Gunner and carried an Airplane Armorer Qualification Badge. He was a prisoner of war after his plane was shot down over Germany in 1943. My favorites places to eat were Chew Den, Carmelo’s and Mrs Aries Restaurant.  The Chew Den had the best Chinese food, best and biggest shrimp, best fried chicken and pretty much everything they served was delicious.  Jack and Susie were the nicest people, I didn't realiize he was a war hero.  I remember them checking to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Of course, I enjoyed the drive-in restaurants also.  Wyle’s had the best burgers and carhops and Greer’s had great food also.

I do not know of anyone who has the Coronavirus.  By the grace of God my family, neighbors, friends and people who work for me plus all the people we do work for are all healthy.  I hope all the class of “63” is also healthy and stays that way.

Everyone continue to be careful and safe.
