Marie, I have noticed many of my friends and relatives have been hacked on FaceBook, email and the Messenger. This seems like a bad disease going around. Everyone be careful opening anything you are os not familiar.

It is a shame we can’t believe what is reported in the newspapers and on broadcast news. What happened to reporting the actual events instead of what they want us to hear. When they report something from a unnamed source I wonder if they make it up and print or report it because they don’t have to verify it.

When the President is overseas trying to make deals that will help the USA, the press is reporting everything negative which makes it almost impossible for him to accomplish anything. They are predicting a recession not because the economy is bad but because they want a recession because it will hurt the President. They seem not to care that it will hurt millions of people also.

Do they really want free everything for everyone no matter what the cost. What happened to “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”. JFK inspired everyone with his words. How soon they are forgotten.

Is all this our fault because we didn’t inspire our children and grandchildren to be be all they can be. Did we let the schools change from places of learning and achievement to just make do.

Still going through things an finding lost items, No they got put in a draw, etc. an was forgotten about

The metal on the right, I got from the state of Louisiana for working as a Civilian when they had that hurricane that flooded everything, an they had to get everyone out , I also collect buckles

The knife was my Granddads it a Barlow, I got when he pass a way in 1963, the spoon & knife were Army issue for Our Mess kits

Just some old pocket knifes I picked up somewhere The red one is swiss made knife.

You will be supprised what you can find just by going thru what ever.

Bill keep checking those drawers. It’s amazing what we find. We were going through an old chest of drawers a few months ago. I saw a brown envelope with something in it. I nearly threw it away but decided to open it and check. When I did, I found two postal money orders one of our boys had sent us 18 years ago. Don’t know how they got lost in this old chest. The date on these two money orders was 9-2-2001. Eighteen years they were laying in this drawer. One was for 150.00. The other 300.00. The post office cashed them for me. And none of us remember why the boys sent them to us, although Leon’s Birthday is around then. It’s still pretty hot and dry here. Wish you all would send some rain. Much love to each of you. I believe the climate of this earth does exactly what God wills it to do and while we were put in place as overseers of this creation, we can do nothing to change the outcome of the weather.
